(Though these are also the “busier” times in terms of tourist seasons, so you’ll also have to take that in to consideration as well). The answer to this question, also depends on what your goals are, what kind of “vacationer” you are and what you ultimately would like to experience. On the Big Island, there are certain times of the winter season when there is snow on top of the island’s high mountain volcano summits.
